Ostriches are the world’s largest bird and the fast runners of any birds or other two-legged animal, as they can reach speeds of over 70km per hour. They are courageous omnivores with beautifully coloured feathers and excellent eyesight. Contrary to popular belief, ostriches do not actually bury their heads in the sand! They just lay low at the approach of trouble and press their long necks to the ground.
We're waiting for you to come to our Animal Park, where you will have the chance to interact and feed these big stunning birds and you will find out more facts about them!
