Buffalos are impressive mammals, incredibly powerful and amongst the most successful grazers in Africa. Their big build, broad chests, large heads, coarse bristly hairs and thick horns equips them to deal with life in a wide range of habitats. They have an excellent sense of hearing and can run up to 31 miles an hour, despite their heavy build! They are smart and loyal herd animals, which always protect their calves when in danger.Come to our Safari Wild Animal Park to see these big herbivores and be impressed!
